Andy Warhol's Stardust

Andy Warhol, a name to a legend. The king of the Pop Art is the protagonist at the Museo del Novecento in Milan, where there's an exhibition of some of his most famous works. A visit to the "Campbell's Soup", the renowned soup cans of the homonymous American industry, then move on to "Grapes" that uses diamond dust which gives the work an aura of preciousness, the covers of the magazine "Interview", founded by Warhol in 1969 that dealt with celebrities and fashion to arrive,finally, to the portraits of the series "Myths" in which we recognize Marilyn Monroe, Albert Einstain, Freud and many others.
To my surprise, there is a photograph of Warhol taken by the eccentric photographer Robert Mapplethorpe in 1986.
A recommended exhibition to see and discover some of the best works of the founder of Factory.

Andy Warhol, un nome una leggenda. Il re della pop art è protagonista al Museo del Novecento di Milano, dove sono esposte alcune tra le sue più famose opere. Una visita fra le " Campbell's Soup", i celebri barattoli di zuppa dell'omonima industria americana, per passare poi a "Grapes" in cui viene utilizzata la polvere di diamante che conferisce all'opera un'aura di preziosità, alle copertine della rivista "Interview", fondata dallo stesso Warhol nel 1969 che trattava di celebrità e moda per arrivare,infine, ai ritratti della serie "Myths" in cui riconosciamo Marylin Monroe, Albert Einstain, Freud e tanti altri.
Con sorpresa, si trova una fotografia di Warhol scattata dall'eccentrico fotografo Robert Mapplethorpe nel 1986.
Mostra consigliatissima per vedere e scoprire alcune delle migliori opere del fondatore della Factory.
